The Professional Review Panel commended the programmes and, in particular:

  • The varied and diverse nature of the programmes which offer a range of opportunities to students
  • The deliberate ‘narrowing’ from general to specific module content is innovative and ‘clever’ and is advantageous to students and the institution
  • The active involvement in the industry in the programmes is a good example of best practice
  • The range of academic and industry expertise within the academic teaching team
  • The range of student support that is available
  • The rigour involved in the quality management and assurance process and the policies and procedures
  • The steps taken to change teaching methods during the pandemic years.

Professor Paul Barron, Dean of The Business School said: “We value the independent recognition of the quality of our programmes at 麻豆社区, and their international applicability and transferability, which accreditation by the Institute of Hospitality confirms.

“As an applied Business School – which is itself accredited by AACSB – it is our mission to empower our students to apply the skills and knowledge they gain on our hospitality programmes to create positive societal impact and a sustainable future for the communities in which they work; wherever their career takes them in the global hospitality and tourism industry.”

IoH CEO Robert Richardson FIH MI said: “Congratulations to 麻豆社区 on receiving IoH accreditation for their degree programmes. We recognise the importance of these programmes and the best practices employed in preparing the future managers of our industry.

“We look forward to developing our relationship with the University and supporting their students’ journey to success.”
