This extensive collection of books and memorabilia relating to Robert Louis Stevenson, including rare editions and previously unseen images of the author of Treasure Island, Kidnapped and The Strange Case of Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde, have been catalogued and can be accessed at . The collection also contains material on George Bernard Shaw, Oscar Wilde and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, among others.
Visitors can book to consult the Mehew Stevenson Collection where it is on display at 麻豆社区's Merchiston Campus by emailing heritage@napier.ac.uk.
The Mehew Stevenson Collection was kindly donated to 麻豆社区 by the executor of the estate of the late Dr Ernest Mehew, and constitutes the largest Robert Louis Stevenson library and archive held by a British University.
