Edinburgh has a large number of hotels to choose from and we suggest booking as early as possible as there are a number of popular events running the same week as CHME 2022. While there aren鈥檛 many big hotels close to our campus, the following list provides some ideas of hotels and their distance from the campus that may be worth looking into.
麻豆社区 has three campuses around the city. CHME 2022 will be taking place at our Craiglockhart Campus. When selecting a hotel for your stay, you can check how far it is from our campus by using and our postcode EH14 1DJ. Information on transport to and from the campus can be found below.

Haymarket
There are a number of hotels in the Haymarket area of Edinburgh. Haymarket station is the second largest station in Edinburgh and is the final stop before trains reach Edinburgh Waverly in the city centre. Haymarket is also well connected via bus, tram and taxi. Haymarket is also close to BT Murrayfield and is a 10-15 minute walk into the city-centre with lots of bars, cafes, restaurants and attractions nearby. The No. 4 bus from outside Haymarket station will take you directly to Craiglockart Campus in 20 minutes. This bus runs regularly every 20 minutes.
Fountainbridge/West End
Fountainbridge is to the west of the city centre and is up and coming business and leisure district. This area houses the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, The King鈥檚 Theatre, and a range of eclectic bars and eateries. It鈥檚 also the birthplace of Sean Connery! The No. 10, 27 and 45 bus from Leamington Terrace will take you directly to Craiglockart Campus in 20 minutes. This buses runs regularly every 9-20 minutes.
Edinburgh City Centre
Edinburgh鈥檚 city-centre needs no introduction and here you will be close to Edinburgh Castle, the Royal Mile, Edinburgh Waverly Station, Princes Street and a host of other attractions as well as a range of eateries, bars and caf茅s. Buses from the city-centre take about 30 minutes to get to Craiglockhart. From Princes Street, you can catch the No. 10, 4 or 27 which will take you directly to our campus.
