Reflective Learning Paper
Renowned for its close ties with practitioners, the Human Resources Subject Area within The Business School has developed a new series of Reflective Learning Papers on Leadership and People Practice as a collaborative process between academics and practitioners. Each paper will include a case study and offers practitioners directly applicable learning on current issues, which they can develop through reflecting on the Papers’ content and its potential application. Entrepreneurship and Innovation
We encourage and support our students and alumni who are interested in developing their business ideas by providing free support, including office space, access to PCs, advice and mentoring. More than 1,200 students each year take modules in entrepreneurship and our highly successful Moffat Centre provides ‘start-up’ business units that have helped launch 110 viable companies.
Our Bright Red Triangle consultancy unit provides opportunities for our students to link to business, while focusing on developing the student experience, student employability, and engagement with the business community. Bright Red Triangle aims to create and develop relationships that benefit all concerned while providing opportunities that both students and staff can benefit from.
