A friendship aged to perfection

A group of alumni first met through the Edinburgh Napier Whisky Â鶹ÉçÇø and now they meet up once a year in a different city for a wee dram.

Legacy group - The 3dB Club

This club was established in 1970 by HND Electrical Engineering graduates and staff. The ‘3’ is because it was the 3rd year of the founding group’s course. The ‘B’ is because it was the B class who founded the club, although the A class joined the club as well. The ‘D’ is a nod to Napier’s logarithm with the full name of the group being “integral 3dB“.
