Our MBA Business Analytics program offers an innovative curriculum designed for those aiming for leadership and managerial roles in the domain of business and equips you with the data analytics knowledge, skills, and hands-on experience you need to succeed.

    How you鈥檒l be taught

    The MBA (Business Analytics) offers an intuitive, engaging, and interactive learning environment. Our high-quality, flexible online materials allow you to study at your own pace and place.

    By engaging with the materials and participating in discussions, you'll exchange knowledge with fellow MBA students and develop valuable networking skills. You'll receive guidance on effectively using the online materials and the importance of reflection to meet programme learning outcomes. Our learning approaches encourage critical reflection and application of knowledge, ensuring you develop high-quality skills and attributes valued by peers, employers, and the wider community.

    You will receive a dedicated programme handbook containing all the information you need about your programme and studying at the University. You will also be given a student email account and access to our student-focused online information service, myNapier. We will introduce you to our online learning environment, Moodle, which allows you to engage with various learning support materials specific to your programme and modules. In addition to support from the programme teaching team, you will be assigned a Global Online Student Advisor who you can contact to access personalised support.

    Assessments

    The programme includes formative and summative assessments, active engagement with other students and tutors, and the use of relevant learning technologies. Teaching and assessment methods facilitate deep reflective learning through discussions, guided reading, independent research, project-based assignments, videoed guest speakers, case studies, and self-reflective exercises.

    Modules are summatively assessed through various methods, including progress tests, essays, case studies, practical projects, recorded presentations, reports, and a final MBA project.

    The online modules provides a clear roadmap, with materials such as video introductions, podcasts, case studies, self-assessment questions, and reflective exercises. Formative feedback is provided throughout the modules to help you assess your progress and understanding.

    You can take one to two modules per trimester and have the flexibility to suspend study for up to one year.

Entry requirements

What are the entry requirements for MBA (Business Analytics)?

The entry requirements for this course is a Bachelor (Honours) Degree at 2:2 or above plus 2 years work experience in order to be eligible for this programme.

We may also consider lesser qualifications if you have sufficient professional work experience within the industry.

To succeed on our Global Online degrees you must have access via computer or laptop to view and download written and video content. You will also need basic IT skills that enable you to write and edit document, send and receive email, find your way around our online learning environment and search for and access online learning resources, download files and use online forums.

Can I get admission into MBA (Business Analytics) based on my working experience in this sector?

This course has academic entry requirements which are assessed alongside relevant work experience. Full details of any relevant work experience, including references should be submitted with your application and may be considered for entry where the minimum academic entry requirements are below those required.

Fees & funding

The course fees you'll pay and the funding available to you will depend on a number of factors including your nationality, location, personal circumstances and the course you are studying. We also have a number of bursaries and scholarships available to our students.

Modules for your course can be purchased through our online store and must be paid in full at the time of enrolment. You will purchase modules in advance of each trimester of study. The fee listed above applies to 20 credits. Please note, the full course comprises of 120 credits in total for BA/BSc (top-up) and 180 credits in total for MSc. Please note that you will pay the module fee according to the academic year in which you study each module, meaning that the total cost of your course will vary depending on the year in which modules are undertaken. If you are paying a fixed programme fee through one of our global partners, the cost will be no higher than if you were buying modules directly from our online store.
