    How you鈥檒l be taught

Our curriculum is designed with the students in mind. Our key aim is to have well rounded graduates who are confident in their abilities to learn and develop during their career at ENU and beyond. We work with our students to support the development of their self-reflective skills, which are a required part of professional practice in career guidance. This self-reflective practice enables students to be aware of their skills and abilities and to understand how they relate to job and career opportunities.

Our aim is to support students to identify and develop their own interests and employability skills which in turn helps the career guidance students learn how to help others to manage their own career development.

    • Student support and peer collaboration are embedded into the programmes from day one, during an extended month-long induction period which involves integrated academic skills sessions, peer owned group work practice sessions and a focus on employability with students shadowing members of the Student Futures team at an early stage.

    • A dedicated Teams Channel and LinkedIn Student and Alumni group to build up a sense of community and belonging, build a knowledge base and encourage research and practice integration throughout the programme.

    • On going weekly support in tutorials and skills practice workshops using an active learning approach involving demonstration, role play, mirroring, peer practice, feedback and reflection.
