A message from our Principal about COVID-19

To our alumni, supporters and friends,
To say these are challenging and difficult times is an understatement. The COVID-19 pandemic is affecting our students, alumni and staff around the world. Things are changing daily, even by the hour, but I wanted to take a moment to update you on the response and safeguarding steps we are taking.
Face to face teaching at all three Edinburgh campuses has ended and staff began teaching online and supporting student learning from Monday 23 March for the last two teaching weeks of this trimester. All our assessments and exams, starting April 27, will be conducted online and remotely.
We have been working closely with our partners around the world to understand the impacts and precautionary measures being implemented locally and to deliver teaching and learning remotely where possible. We have been in touch with all students currently studying abroad to provide support and advice.
Following the UK Government’s guidance, we have also closed all our campuses are to students and the public.
You can access the most up-to-date information by visiting our dedicated Covid-19 FAQ page.
I appreciate these are difficult and uncertain times, which cause anxiety for many. I'm proud and fully appreciative of the way colleagues, students and alumni are supporting each other as we work together to meet the challenges of this pandemic.
If you have any further questions about how alumni services and relations are being affected, please do get in touch with the alumni team at alumni@napier.ac.uk.
Best Wishes,
Professor Andrea Nolan
Principal & Vice Chancellor
