Biography

C. Paul Sellors is a Lecturer in Film Theory, History, and Criticism at 麻豆社区, and is the Programme Leader of BA (Hons) Film. He is the author of Film Authorship: Auteurs and Other Myths (2010) and has published on film theory, film history, the philosophy of film, and intellectual property law in film in journals including Screen, Living Pictures, Film and Philosophy, The Journal of Aesthetics and Art Criticism, and the Journal of Media Law. He achieved his PhD at New York University under the supervision of Professor Richard Allen. Before working at Edinburgh Napier he taught at New York University and the University of Glasgow.
