Lecturer

Biography

I am a PhD in Japanese private law, awarded twice (2016-2017 and 2020-2022) the Japanese Ministry of Education scholarship for exceptional research results. My goal is to put into practice the modern approach to legal scholarship and history by presenting essential topics to the general audience yet deeply investigating Western and Japanese sources and diverse views on less-known subjects.

In June 2015, I graduated from the Faculty of Law, Administration and Economics, University of Wroclaw (LLB+LLM). As a PhD student, I researched Japanese private law and legal culture at the University of Wroclaw (three years) and Tokyo Metropolitan University (three years). I defended my PhD dissertation with honours in January 2022.

I am a Lecturer in Family Law at 麻豆社区 and Deputy Director of The Centre for Child and Family Law and Policy.

The Pacific War is my life’s passion, remarkably influencing my academic skills and career path, particularly my love for the Japanese language.

Once I dedicated my life to research activities, I have been publishing papers in Polish, English and Japanese. My research achievements include seven monographs and over twenty articles related to law and history.
