Biography
Dr Mina Jowkar is a lecturer in Architectural Technology in the School of Built Environment at 麻豆社区. She is currently the program leader of Construction Project Management Global Online.
Prior to her current role, Mina worked as a postdoctoral researcher at The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) in Norway, where she was involved in teaching and various European research projects including 鈥楥itizen participation in urban planning in smart cities鈥, 鈥楽ustainable building renovation鈥 and 鈥楾hermal comfort in extremely cold climates鈥.
Mina has completed her PhD in 鈥淭hermal comfort in the UK higher learning environments鈥 at Coventry University; and her MSc (with distinction) in Architectural Engineering at Heriot-Watt University, UK, where she conducted a research project on 鈥淭he influence of indoor vegetation on moisture control in a Scottish care home鈥.
Her research interest includes 鈥榖uilding performance simulation, 鈥榯hermal comfort鈥, 鈥榬etrofit technologies鈥, 鈥榰rban development in smart cities鈥 and 鈥榮ocial health and well-being in buildings and neighbourhoods鈥.
