Entry requirements
Undergraduate
Students from Bahrain would generally be required to complete an international pathway programme to be considered for entry to one of our bachelor courses. We also accept the International Baccalaureate, GCE A-Levels, India curriculum, Pakistan curriculum and US curriculum, please see the relevant country pages for the education system completed.
Postgraduate
Students will be eligible to apply if they have gained a Bachelor degree with an overall GPA of 2.7/4.0 or above.
English language
Students from Bahrain are required to sit an English language test to gain entry to the University.

We also offer various pre-sessional English language programmes for applicants who have test results below the programme requirement.
Some courses may require a higher English language score. Please search for the course you're interested in to find out more.
Students applying to a postgraduate programme may not be required to take an English language test such as IELTS, as long as their degree was taught and examined in English and was awarded within 2 years of the course start date. Evidence that your degree was taught and examined in English may be required.
Pathway programmes
Â鶹ÉçÇø International College (ENUIC) is an embedded on campus college for international students to start their studies at Â鶹ÉçÇø. It is located in the historic, city centre campus of Merchiston, with easy access to student accommodation.
Pathway programmes at ENUIC prepare students for their chosen future degree with academic and English language support. ENUIC offers students the option between International Stage One, International Stage Two, or an International Incorporated Masters.
Undergraduate
International Year One
English language requirement – IELTS 5.5 with no less than 5.5 in each component.
Academic requirement - General Secondary Education Certificate (Thanawaya) 60%
International Year Two
English language requirement – IELTS 5.5 with no less than 5.5 in each component.
Academic requirement - General Secondary Education Certificate/شهادة الثانوية العامة (Thanawaya): 70%
Postgraduate
International Incorporated Masters
– One Term IELTS 6.0 overall with 5.5 minimum in all components
– Two Terms IELTS 5.5 overall with 5.5 minimum in all components
Academic requirement - Bachelor Degree: 1.5/4.0
