The course is focused on SMEs at all levels of business and across all industries who are attempting to build their businesses in very dynamic times.

All businesses need to consider how to build their businesses either Business to Business or Business to Customer/ Consumer. This course takes you through key elements of business development, including ensuring all part of the company are running to the same culture and customer service ethos. It also looks at the kinds of customers, where they can be found, and how to find them.

Each workshop will enable participants to develop their own specific business development plan, appropriate to their own business.
 
 Upon successful completion of this programme you will be able to:


1 Understand what business development means across a company
2 Align all company efforts towards business development (company culture)
3 Review a company's growth through an Entrepreneurial Leadership Lens
4 Understand where to find new customers
5 Look at how you influence others
6 Review your presentations given the limited time now allowed for pitches and presentations

How you'll be taught 

There will be three workshops running once each week on our Craiglockhart campus throughout April 2025. Free parking can be provided, if booked in advance.

Assessments

There will be a stand alone learning task set by the module leader in class.

Each Participant can receive a certificate of attendance once they have attended a minimum of 2 workshops.
